Set Up and Use the Integration
To set up this integration, you will need to be on a Canopy Connect plan that includes integration access, as well as an active Applied Epic account. Here's how to set it up:
Integration Setup (Administrators)
- If you do not already have Epic Leads Inbox configured, contact Applied customer support team. Initiate a chat from within the Applied Epic platform or email support@appliedsystems.com. Once set up, they will provide you an Applied Epic Tenant Id.
- From the Canopy Connect platform, click Integrations.
- Find the Applied integration tile and click the + icon to add the integration.
- Enter your Applied Epic Tenant ID.
- If you would like to Automatically send prospects into Applied Epic, check the box.
- Finish by clicking the Setup Integration button.
How to Send Canopy Connect data Epic Leads Inbox
- From the Canopy Connect submissions tab↗, click on the submission you'd like to use. If you have configured your integration to automatically send prospects into Applied Epic, you can skip to step 4.
- Review the policy information.
- From the Applied module under Integrations, select if you'd like to send the auto or home policy, and click the Send to Applied button.
- Go to your Applied Epic Leads Inbox.
- Select the lead record, and click the Import Leads button.
- Epic Leads Inbox will check for potential duplicates. From this window you can either use an existing account or create a new account record.
- Follow the prompts to confirm import fields.
- Click on Quotes in the sidebar and begin your quoting process as you normally would. You'll see that the quote details are prefilled.
